Our engineers are all Gas Safe registered engineers.
By law, all landlords must carry out annual gas safety checks and provide tenants with copies of the records of these within 28 days. The checks must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
We regularly carry out such checks and provide the relevant certificate – just give us a call. We will also remind you when the next annual check needs to be carried out.
We strongly recommend having carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. However, these are not replacements for regular maintenance and safety checks by one of our Gas Safe registered engineers.
We supply CO alarms, which comply with British Standard EN 50291 and carry a British or European approval mark, such as Kitemark. We also ensure that all of our CO alarms are installed and maintained in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
A landlord’s duties for LPG appliances are the same as for natural gas. Landlords must arrange for maintenance by a Gas Safe registered engineer for all LPG appliances they own and provide to tenants, and they must have a Gas Safe registered engineer carry out a safety check at least every 12 months.
All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered and carry ID cards that tell you which appliances they are qualified to work on.
