All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered. What does this mean and why is it important to you?
The Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the UK, the Isle of Man and Guernsey, appointed by the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each area. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.
All of our Gas Safe engineers have been checked to ensure they are competent and qualified to do your gas work safely and legally. And all of them carry Gas Safe Register IDs, showing the type of work they are qualified to do, so you can be confident about their abilities.
Badly fitted and poorly serviced gas appliances are extremely dangerous. And there are cowboys out there hoping to make a quick profit from you, without caring about the harm they could cause.
However, the solution is simple - always demand to see an engineer’s ID or check whether they are registered on the Gas Safe Register.

Unsafe gas appliances produce CO, which is a highly poisonous and sometime deadly gas. And it is one of the reasons why it is essential you use Gas Safe registered engineers.
Symptoms of CO poisoning are similar to flu, food poisoning and even tiredness. Other signs include:
Ultimately, someone suffering from CO poisoning will collapse and lose consciousness.
If you suspect you have been affected by CO poisoning, get fresh air immediately. Open doors and windows, and leave the house. If necessary, see your doctor or go to hospital. In situations of immediate danger, call the National Gas Emergency number (0800 111 999) immediately.
We strongly suggest you fit an audible CO alarm. We would be delighted to advise you on this and to fit suitable, potentially life-saving CO alarms.
